Article 1st Gold Virtual Airlines is an organization dedicated to intertainment and has no attachments to any real airline and the procedures simulated here, although based on real aviation, are not to be applied to real flights and aircraft.

Article 2nd Our simulations to pilots and ATCs happen connected to the internet. Here you will fly or control in an international multiplayer environment, where it's possible to see other fellow pilot's aircrafts wherever you fly and interact with ATCs all over the world. For that to happen, you have to register to VATSIM, our partner network. To become a Gold member, you need a VATSIM account active and valid.

Article 3rd Sign up process will be done in 3 phases:

………§ 1 Read and agree with this rule set and with the Privacy Policy (GDPR).;
………§ 2 Fill the registration form available at the end of this page;
………§ 3 Complete the virtual interview and follow the initial procedures after receiving the welcome email.

Article 4th Gold Virtual Airlines reserves the right to deny registrations, without informing reasons, and/or to limit the amount of spots available.

Article 5th If the applicant is a member of other VA, should leave it before applying. GVA does not  accept applicants that are member os other VAs, with exception of exclusively military VAs.

Article 6th Minimal requirements:

• Minimum age or 16 years old;(Exceptional cases will be treated by the Presidency)
• Time availabilty, at least 2 (two) hours per week;
• Windows computer that supports Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Prepar3D, XPlane or Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, as well as owning a copy of one of this sims;
• Microfone (headphones preferred);
• Internet connection, minimum 10mbps;
• Availability of performing at least an average of 4 (four) flights per month;
• A lot of willing to learn, teach, respect and have fun.

Article 7th We don't require theorical or practical knowledge, as long as the pilot have availability for training and is aware that they will not be able to fly online for Gold without being approved on the theorical and practical checks on the Private Pilot course.

Article 8th Acceptance of the applicant: Ingress will be done in 2 phases.

………§ 1 – 1st Phase: Virtual interview. The applicant should fill the virtual interview form. After that, if approved by the system, will receive a link to the WhatsApp ;Welcome Group, where should inform name and email. The pilot then will receive an email containing the inicial orientation and a login to access Gold ambients. This email will also include all information to start the training using the Flight Academy.

………§ 2 – 2nd Phase: Courses, training and theorical/practical checks: The aspirant will follow the steps below to achieve their certification as Gold pilot and be cleared to fly online for the VA:

• Take the course Welcome to Gold Virtual Airlines;
• Take the course Preparing the simulator to fly at Gold. This couse brings the members the P0 raging on VATSIM;
• Chose the path for plane or helicopter pilot and take the course of Virtual Private Pilot and get approved on theorical check;
• Take the familiarization course for the chosen aircraft and get approved on the theorical check;
• Fly the training and development missions;
• Get approvad on practical checkride.

………§ 3 The deadline for this process is 90 days after the interview.

………§ 4 Acknowledgment of rating: Gold Virtual Airlines acknowledges the rating and dismiss the aspirant of complying with paragraph  § 2 and  § 3 of Article 8th, on the following condition:

Members on the situation above will be admitted as Private Pilot at Gold and will be able to start immediately their online flights.

Article 10th

……….§ 1 Carrer path: GVA has a carrer path that allows the crew to evolve in their knowledge and skills in several equipment. Therefore, the pilot will be promoted according to their approval on theorical and practical checks.

……….§ 2 With the intention of recognizing and highlighting differenciated members, GVA created the program "Fly higher than your dreams", to award medals of merit.

Article 11th Online flight: Any member can fly online in any aircraft homologated ad GVA, independently of pilot's fight time, as long as they have GVA certifications regarding both aircraft and its category.

Article 12th For the flights to be valid within GVA, it is mandatory to fly on one of the networks we operate, currently VATSIM, IVAO and POSCON. Pilots flying offline will have their reports denied and in case of reincidence can be penalized.

Article 13th Flight plan filing is mandatory, as well as the filling of the remark field with the following text: OPR/GOLD VIRTUAL AIRLINES RMK/PIC GLDXXXX (where XXXX is the pilot's callsign).

Article 14th GVA, focusing on the realism of the operations, provides a Flight Academy, aiming to train the pilots in theory and practic, including several courses, videos and simulated tests. We are proud to offer distance training, via YouTube, Discord and other platforms, of the following topics:

• Simulator preparation with addon installing tips to increase quality and performance;
• Private and commercial pilot formation;
• Familiarization courses for all aircraft on the fleet.

Article 15th  Routes and tours: GVA's aereal network is huge.

Article 16th Fligh reporting system: GVA uses a proprietary software to log and report our pilot's flights, Gold ACARS.

Article 17th Discord connection: To facilitate communication and integration between members during training, regular flights or chit-chat, all members are encouraged to connect to Gold Discord server.

Article 18th Simulation rate: Speeding up or pausing simulation time during flights or flying offline is forbidden. Doing so can lead to warnings, suspension or even exclusion from GVA.

Artigo 19th Inativity: If you need to absent yourself from GVA for a period larger than 30 days, a temporary leave should be requested via the ticket system. Each member has the right of 2 leaves per year, with a maximum of 90 days each. Not observation of this rule will result on your exclusion from GVA. When returning from leave, a flight must be done for the system to restablish the pilot as active.

Article 20th Conflicts and complaints: To respect and be respected are an obligation and a right of every pilot. GVA is made of people who love aviation and we expect a peaceful environment. In case of conflicts, GVA's precidency will act as necessary to achieve the general well being and respect for the rules.

Article 21st Exclusion: Will be excluded from GVA:

• § 1 Pilots absent for a period greater than 30 days with no given reason;
• § 2 Aspirants not completing Private Pilot formation within 90 days after their initial interview;
• § 3 Pilots below the minimum monthly average goal of 4 flights for 3 consecutive months;
• § 4 Bad conduct on the networks, with GVA members or on the Discord.

Article 22nd Use of the flight academy, Facebook group and WhatsApp group: To keep privacy and a peaceful environment, GVA restrics access to the flight academi, Facebook group and WhatsApp group to the crew.

Article 23rd Incentive program: With the goal to incentive our crew to evolve on IVAO and VATSIM, our members can take part on training modules for pilots and ATCs promoted by both networks.

Article 24th According to necessity, GVA invites chosen members to join the staff board. All the members of the staff assist the VA voluntarily. All content or contribution created by any staff member is of exclusive use of GVA. If by any reason, a member leaves the VA, all projects and work they developed while GVA staff should be kept availabe to GVA.
