Article 1st Gold Virtual Airlines is an organization dedicated to intertainment and has no attachments to any real airline and the procedures simulated here, although based on real aviation, are not to be applied to real flights and aircraft.

Article 2nd Our simulations to pilots and ATCs happen connected to the internet. Here you will fly or control in an international multiplayer environment, where it's possible to see other fellow pilot's aircrafts wherever you fly and interact with ATCs all over the world. For that to happen, you have to register to VATSIM or IVAO, our partner networks. To become a Gold member, you need an active and valid registration in at least one of these two networks.

Article 3rd Sign up process will be done in 3 phases:

………§ 1 Read and agree with this rule set and with the Privacy Policy (GDPR).;
………§ 2 Fill the application form on Discord, accessible through the button at the end of this page;
………§ 3 Follow the mandatory initial procedures established in the welcome message to Gold Virtual Airlines.

Article 4th Gold Virtual Airlines reserves the right to deny registrations, without informing reasons, and/or to limit the amount of spots available.

Article 5th Minimal requirements:

• Minimum age or 16 years old;(Exceptional cases will be treated by the Presidency)
• Windows computer that supports Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Prepar3D, XPlane, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 or Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, as well as owning a copy of one of this sims;
• Internet connection, minimum 10mbps;
• Discord account and software;
• Microfone (headphones preferred);
• WhatsApp;
• Availability of performing at least an average of 4 (four) flights per month;
• A lot of willing to learn, teach, respect and have fun with our crew and network colleagues.

Article 6th We don't require theorical or practical knowledge, as long as the pilot have availability for the theorical and practical training through our Academy.

Article 7th Experienced pilots are very welcome. Any aircraft of the fleet can be released after approval in the Theorical Check of familiarization of the specific aircraft or family. A brief theorical course is available before each check.

Article 8th  The fleet of Gold Virtual Airlines has dozens of aircraft, ranging from single-engine like the C152 to four-engine jets like the B747. The fleet is constantly evolving and growing as new aircraft become available for simulators.

Article 9th Online Flight: The member can fly online in any aircraft homologated at Gold independently of flight hours, as long as they have approval in the theorical familiarization check regarding the aircraft and practical flight knowledge in the category.

Article 10th For flight counting in Gold's reporting system, it is mandatory to perform online flights on the IVAO, VATSIM or POSCON network.

Article 11th Gold, concerned with the degree of realism in operations and the quality of its crew members, has a Training Academy with complete and didactic training, containing theory, video classes, exercises and simulations for fixation of the various themes. We are proud to offer our members distance training, via YouTube and other platforms and live lectures on Discord about:

• Simulator preparation with addon installing tips to increase quality and performance;
• Certification of Virtual Private Pilot, Virtual Commercial IFR Pilot, Multi-Engine Pilot and Airline Pilot;
• Familiarization of all aircraft in the fleet.

Article 12th Flight reporting system: The flight reporting system used by Gold Virtual Airlines is "GOLD ACARS". It records all flight parameters necessary for the company and also provides automatic sending and updating of hours flown by the pilot.

Article 13th Discord connection: To facilitate communication and interaction between members during training, flights and informal conversations, we encourage a recurrent presence on Gold's Discord. There it is also possible to open tickets, find common questions and tips and debate specific doubts through the forum or via voice channel.

Article 14th Simulation rate acceleration: Speeding up or pausing simulator time during flights and/or performing them offline is strictly prohibited. The practice of these items is subject to warning, suspension or exclusion from the VA.

Article 15th Inactivity: Whenever needing to be absent and the inactivity period reaches 30 days, the pilot must request their temporary leave via ticket. The member will have the right to 2 (two) annual leaves totaling in both a maximum of 90 days. Non-observance of this procedure will result in their dismissal. The Pilot must, at the end of their leave, whether before expected or on the limit date, perform a flight within a maximum of 24 hours, so that the system recognizes the return and re-establishes the Active pilot status.

Article 16th Conflicts and Complaints: To respect and be respected is a right and duty of all. Gold Virtual Airlines is formed by people who love, above all, aviation and thus expects no incident between our members. In case of non-compliance in this value, the Presidency of the VA will act with a view to applying the actions deemed necessary for the maintenance of well-being and Gold's rules.

Article 17th Exclusion: Will be excluded from GVA:

• § 1 Pilot who leaves the Gold WhatsApp group without informed reason;
• § 2 Pilot who leaves the Gold Discord;
• § 3 Pilot who presents bad conduct with network members, Gold members or third parties.

Article 18th Gold invites members according to its need to compose the staff board. these members voluntarily help in the organization of the VA. All collaborative contribution developed by them remains exclusive use of Gold Virtual Airlines and if for any reason the member leaves the VA they cannot prohibit or take with them the projects without formal written authorization from Gold's presidency.
